Dept. of Natural Resources and Conservation
Our Mission:
Increases communication between timber-related
businesses and educates the public regarding responsible
and sustainable forest management and promotes the
importance of forestry and forest products within the
community. Coordinates the annual Timber Tour which
allows community members to get out and see the industry
first hand and also organizes Forest Discovery Days,
which educates over 400 5th-7th graders on the Timber
Industry and forest maintenance.
