Health Care Services
Missoula is a major medical hub for Western Montana and
Central Idaho. Medical services include perinatology (a
medical specialty focusing on high-risk obstetric cases),
obstetric services, newborn services, a newborn intensive

rheumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation. Missoula
is also home to regionally renowned programs in

arthritis and chronic pain. Programs focus on brain-injured
patients and their families, placing patients in meaningful
