MCT offers year-round opportunities for school-aged children, as well as adults, by providing a full season of local children’s productions and community theatre. MCT runs local day camps in the spring and summer and afterschool performing arts classes during fall and winter. In addition, MCT operates a summer performing arts camp on the shores of scenic Flathead Lake that over 200 young people from around the world attend each year. The Missoula Children’s Theatre is the largest touring children’s theatre in the nation. Annually, MCT sends 40 teams of two actor/directors to 1,200 communities worldwide. Within one week, children are taught a full-scale musical which they perform in front of hundreds of audience members. All local productions are held at MCT Center for the Performing Arts, 425 E. Broadway. For tickets call the box office at: (406) 728-PLAY or visit www.mctinc.org.
